NC State’s Institute for Emerging Issues: Think and Do for Economic Vibrancy

The Institute for Emerging Issues (IEI) – North Carolina’s “think and do” tank – convenes leaders and communities for collaborative work on emerging issues impacting the state’s economic vitality and quality of life. From education, healthcare, infrastructure and the natural environment to financing and the economy, IEI selects an emerging issue each year to focus the state’s attention and highlight solutions with broad support across regions, sectors and perspectives. This session will explore the state’s projected growth by 2050, and IEI’s process for engaging leaders and communities to identify and move the needle on shared solutions to achieve a future-forward infrastructure plan for North Carolina.

Refreshments will follow from 3:15 – 4:00 p.m.

Presenters: Sarah Hall, MPH and Jess Epstein, MLIS
Note: This event is free and open to the public, but you must register.
