What is the refund policy?
General Refund Policy

- A $10 processing fee will be deducted from any refund.
- If you cannot attend, we cannot allow substitutions.
- If OLLI cancels a course or event, you will be notified and given a full refund (or you can transfer to another course or event in the semester). Please allow three weeks for processing refunds.
- If OLLI cancels a course or event after it has begun, you will be notified and offered a pro-rated refund.
- Since lectures, courses, lunch and learns, experiential learning and study trips can overlap in time – drop fees apply if you double-book yourself.

Multi-day Domestic and International Travel

What is the adverse weather policy?
NEW FOR 2026-2027
During inclement weather, OLLI follows the NC State University cancellation and delay schedule. In this situation, in-person* OLLI courses, lectures and events will be cancelled when NC State is operating under Condition 2 or Condition 3. Under Condition 1, most courses, lectures and events will proceed as planned; individual classes that need to vary due to instructor location/availability or similar will be handled on a case-by-case basis. *Please note: Conditions 2 & 3 do not impact Zoom or Osher Online programs. These programs continue regardless of NC State status.
During inclement weather, NC State will post the Condition Level on its website. Members can also sign up to receive text notifications for cancelled classes.
Is parking available at the McKimmon Conference and Training Center?
Parking in the front lots of the McKimmon Conference and Training Center is free and usually plentiful. Please be sure to park in the green-striped spaces. If we know in advance when parking will be close to full because of other events at McKimmon, we will include that information in the class announcements, in the Parking Alerts section of our weekly email, and broadcast via email.
Note: There is no parking specifically designated for OLLI members. When parking attendants are present, please park where directed.
Does OLLI provide financial aid?
Members with limited discretionary income should contact us if financial assistance is needed in order to enroll in a six-week course. A “bank” of courses has been donated by other members for this purpose. Learn more about financial assistance.
How can I get to the McKimmon Center if I do not drive?
If you are disabled, Accessible Raleigh Transportation (ART) provides transit services to persons who qualify under the ADA. Call ART at 919.996.3459.
