Volunteer for OLLI around your class schedule with these opportunities:
Class Host
Class hosts provide instructor support in the McKimmon Center and virtual classrooms. Duties include:
- Helping instructors get set up in the classroom
- Providing basic technical support
- Reading the class announcements
- Distributing handouts or other materials
- Ensuring classes start and end on time
Class hosts are the “eyes and ears” of our classrooms, and they are essential to the success of our program. Training is provided for all class hosts.
Class Ambassador
Class ambassadors provide member support in the McKimmon Center classrooms. Duties include:
- Welcoming members arriving to class
- Facilitating social connections between new and longtime members
- Helping members find and/or replace their name tents
- Answering basic questions about the OLLI program
- Providing directions within the McKimmon Center
Class ambassadors are the smiling faces in our classrooms, and they are essential to the success of our program. Training is provided for all class ambassadors.
