OLLI is a community

We’re sharing two opportunities for members from our extended community – one from our “Osher cousins” at the Osher Integrative Health Centers and one from NC State.

OLLI Members are invited to join the Osher Integrative Health Centers’ 2nd Annual Virtual Symposium – Healthy People, Healthy Planet on Friday, November 8.

Did you know that, in addition to providing endowments to support 120+ OLLIs around the country, the Bernard Osher Foundation also supports Osher Integrative Health Centers – a network of Integrative Health Centers hosted within 10 U.S. medical schools and the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. 

The Osher Centers will present their 2nd Annual Virtual Symposium – Healthy People, Healthy Planet on Friday, November 8th. Learn more about the Symposium on the event webpage. It is coordinated by the Osher Collaborative (which is the parallel to the Osher National Resource Center that supports OLLIs) and includes an impressive roster of presentations by Integrative Health professionals from the centers all across the country. 

This FREE EVENT is open to OLLI members. Members can virtually attend one or all the presentations, running between the hours of: 11:00am – 5:30pm ET

VIRTUAL SYMPOSIUM

This one-day free virtual symposium will feature presentations from Osher Collaborative speakers on the reciprocal relationship between personal and planetary wellness. The program will cover the following four themes:

• Healthy Lifestyle (physical, mental, and spiritual)
• Healthy Relationships (social and ecological)
• Healthy Community (in more than the human world)
• Healthy Future (for people and planet)
